How we check our content

Wrong facts cost marks. This is how every page of Upscore's study material is written and checked before a student sees it, and what the checks can't promise.

1. Written from primary sources

Each part is written from the Constitution of India, Acts of Parliament, Supreme Court judgments, Constituent Assembly debates and official government reports. Every paragraph lists the sources it relies on, shown at the bottom of each page. Standard textbooks are used only to make sure no exam topic is missing, never as a source of wording.

2. A coverage checklist for every chapter

Before a chapter is written, we list everything a student must know for it: each article, landmark case, amendment and commonly confused pair, and every theme UPSC Prelims has asked about. Each part declares which checklist items it teaches, and the build fails if something claimed isn't on the list.

3. An independent fact-check of every paragraph

A separate AI model (Google Gemini), which did not write the text, checks every paragraph, table, exam trap, recap line and practice question, using web search where it can. It marks each item correct, wrong or doubtful. A part with any item marked wrong is not published until it is fixed and checked again.

4. Hindi and regional-language checks

The Hindi text is checked against the English for the same meaning, using the official Hindi terms of the Constitution. Each regional-language explanation is translated back into English and compared with the paragraph it explains, so an explanation that changes the meaning or adds facts is caught.

5. Copy checks

The fact-check also looks for sentences that copy a published book or website. Any flagged sentence is rewritten in fresh words before publishing.

6. Dated and versioned

Every page shows the date it was last fact-checked. When a part is corrected, its version number goes up and it is checked again.

What this can't promise

AI checking is careful but not the same as review by a subject expert, and it can miss things. Treat Upscore as a strong study companion, cross-check anything that looks surprising with the bare Constitution or the official source listed on the page, and tell us through the app's Feedback page if you find an error.
